Primakara University has once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment through the success of four students from Palm Studio, a startup tenant under the Primakara Business Incubator, who passed the national selection for the Indonesia Game Developer Exchange (IGDX) Bootcamp 2026.
The prestigious program is organized by Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) in collaboration with the Indonesian Game Association (AGI) and Gamelab Indonesia. IGDX Bootcamp aims to develop and strengthen the capabilities of young talents in Indonesia’s growing game development industry.
In 2026, the program selected 100 participants nationwide to join an intensive bootcamp focused on game development, collaboration, and industry readiness.
The four Primakara University students selected for the program are:
I Ketut Yogi Regestrawan (Informatics) – Game Programmer
I Putu Krisna Ariwidnyana (Informatics) – Game Programmer
I Wayan Nik Eka Nanda (Informatics) – Game Programmer
Ida Ayu Rai Sukraeni (Informatics) – Game Artist
All four students are members of Coconut Studio, a startup tenant specializing in game development under the Primakara Business Incubator.
During the bootcamp, the 100 selected participants will be grouped into 20 teams and challenged to develop game prototypes that will result in playable demos, trailers, and pitch decks. The program provides participants with opportunities to collaborate with fellow game developers from across Indonesia while strengthening their technical and creative skills.
At the end of the program, the three best teams will have the opportunity to showcase their projects at the grand IGDX event in Bali.
This achievement reflects Primakara University’s strong commitment to nurturing digital talents, particularly in the creative game industry. Through the support of the Primakara Business Incubator and various entrepreneurship development programs, the university continues to encourage students to become innovative creators capable of competing at both national and international levels.
Congratulations to all selected students. May they achieve outstanding results and continue to bring pride to Primakara University in Indonesia’s game development ecosystem.
