On July 16, 2026, Primakara University hosted the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Strengthening Higher Education Technopreneurship Ecosystems, as part of the Science, Technology, Innovation Capacity Building (IPTEKIN) and National Talent Management Program in Research and Innovation initiated by Indonesia's Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas).
The event brought together representatives from the Directorate of Higher Education and Science & Technology of Bappenas to explore the university's best practices in developing a comprehensive technopreneurship ecosystem. Primakara University shared its experience in integrating entrepreneurship education, research, innovation, business incubation, and collaboration with industry to create an environment that supports technology-based entrepreneurship.
During the discussion, the university presented its strategies for nurturing technopreneurial talent, including entrepreneurship-driven curricula, student startup development, business incubation through Primakara Business Incubator, research commercialization, and initiatives that transform academic innovation into real-world solutions with societal impact.
The forum also served as a platform to exchange ideas on strengthening collaboration among universities, government institutions, industry partners, and communities to foster sustainable innovation ecosystems and accelerate the growth of technology-based enterprises.
