Pesona Plastik, a startup tenant from the Primakara Business Incubator at Primakara University, won First Place at the National Level in the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Competition in the Sociopreneur category organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Indonesia.
This achievement highlights the success of student-driven innovation in creating businesses that generate both economic value and positive social and environmental impact.
As a sociopreneurship-based startup, Pesona Plastik focuses on transforming plastic waste into functional furniture products. This innovation contributes to reducing plastic waste while simultaneously creating social value through sustainable resource utilization.
The Pesona Plastik team consists of three Primakara University students: I Dewa Agung Ary Krisna, Gede Siantie, and I Putu Kevin Eka Setiawan.
The team is mentored by I Gusti Agung Prabandari Tri Putri, S.E., M.M. and Ida Bagus Ardhi Putra, S.Kom., M.Pd., who provide guidance in developing the startup’s business and innovation strategies.
This national achievement demonstrates how sustainability-focused innovation can empower young entrepreneurs to create meaningful change.
